Today, we’re taking you behind the scenes to show you the step-by-step process of bringing these tumblers to life!
Step 1: Printing & Reviewing Orders
Each day begins with printing out the day’s orders and reviewing the details carefully. This ensures every design is correct, the personalization is accurate, and we’re all set to create exactly what the customer requested. Whether it’s a pet portrait, a wedding-themed cup, or a glitter ombré masterpiece, this step is key to getting everything just right.
Step 2: Selecting the Tumbler Base
Once the orders are reviewed, the next step is choosing the correct tumbler size and style. We offer a variety of sizes, from skinny tumblers to standard travel cups, all of which are double-walled stainless steel and BPA-free to keep drinks hot or cold for hours.
Step 3: Bringing the Design to Life
Now comes the fun part! The process differs depending on the type of tumbler:
✨ For Sublimation Tumblers:
- Print the custom design on special sublimation paper.
- Cut the design to size and wrap it tightly around the tumbler.
- Secure it in place, then use a heat press to transfer the design permanently onto the cup.
- Once cooled, the wrap is removed, revealing a vibrant, seamless design!
✨ For Custom Glitter Tumblers:
- Prep the tumbler by sanding and applying a smooth epoxy base.
- Carefully layer the glitter colors chosen by the customer, creating ombré, solid, or mixed effects.
- Apply additional epoxy layers to seal and protect the glitter, ensuring a glass-like, durable finish.
Step 4: Curing & Final Touches
After designing, sublimation tumblers are ready to go, while glitter tumblers require time to cure. Each epoxy layer must dry properly before the next coat is applied, which can take several hours. Once fully cured, the tumbler is sanded, polished, and inspected to ensure it’s flawless before shipping.
Step 5: Packaging & Sending It Off
When the tumbler is complete, it’s carefully packaged with a matching lid and straw and wrapped securely for shipping. A final check ensures that everything meets our high-quality standards before heading to its new home!
